Our Work

Here are a few recent projects we have done.

Trash Taste

BY ETHAN AVISON

OVERVIEW

Trash Taste began as a passion project in 2021, a creative outlet born from my lifelong love of graphic t-shirts and the culture they represent. Growing up in the '90s, I was always drawn to bold, expressive tees, so when the trend resurfaced, it felt like the perfect time to bring an idea I’d been sitting on to life.

Trash Taste Tees initially focused on sourcing and importing vintage and secondhand graphic t-shirts from the USA. Why the States? Simply put, the U.S. is home to many of the original graphic designs we all remember, and with its fast-fashion culture, there's no shortage of discarded gems. By giving these tees a second life, Trash Taste aimed to keep them out of landfills while tapping into global nostalgia.

While the project is currently on hold as we focus on other ventures, Trash Taste is far from finished. Big things are planned; stay tuned!

THE BRAND

The name Trash Taste is a play on two familiar phrases:

“One person’s trash is another’s treasure”

“You’ve got good taste”

Combined, they shape the brand’s ethos: “One person’s trash is another’s taste.” The name celebrates individuality, irony, and the joy of finding style in the unexpected.

When developing the visual identity, I wanted the brand mark to be subtle, allowing the t-shirts, each with their own graphic voice, to shine. The logo icon itself is a minimal, abstract t-shirt shape cleverly formed from the two Ts in the name, striking a balance between design and visual restraint.

DESIGN OVERVIEW

All branding, visual design, and creative direction were handled in-house, including:

  • Logo design & brand icon

  • Visual identity & tone

  • Photography styling

  • Curated product selection

  • Packaging & presentation concepts

  • Digital content and social media direction

Trash Taste is a celebration of personality, print nostalgia, and sustainable style, and while it may be on pause, its story is still being written.
